NoLita Real Estate

NoLita apartments are some of the best places to live in New York City. NoLita, the small section of downtown Manhattan that is named for its location north of Little Italy, runs from Bowery to Lafayette Street and from Broome Street up to Houston Street. Its casual atmosphere and mix of cultures makes it an appealing neighborhood to live in. The area is generally lively on most nights and weekends with events, street fairs and crowds of people roaming the streets.

Real estate offerings include mostly walkups and a few mid-rise elevator buildings. The varied population here is comprised of young professionals, families and an older demographic. While situated on the east side of Manhattan, its abundance of transportation options to all sections of the city makes it convenient for any daily commute.

Despite its small size, NoLita is a great place to live and has plenty of things to do. Most streets are filled with laid-back restaurants, fun bars and chic boutique shops. The Australian contingent that resides here has certainly influenced this area’s culture with some of the most popular establishments owned by individuals from the Land Down Under. In addition, the neighborhood’s proximity to Little Italy, SoHo, the Lower East Side and the East Village, allows residents to explore other parts of the city relatively easily.
