Apartments Upper West Side

Upper West Side apartments are broadly revered as some of the most coveted places to live in Manhattan. The Upper West Side runs from 59th Street up to 110th Street and from Central Park West to the Hudson River. It is the quintessential family neighborhood with numerous schools, parks and activities. In the past, restaurant options had been lacking in this part of Manhattan, but a recent surge of new food establishments has brought an improved selection to the neighborhood.

The Upper West Side consists of a wide age range from young singles to families to older residents. Living options generally include either high rise doorman buildings or townhouse walkups. There are plenty of reasonably priced apartments for any budget, but the most expensive real estate is generally found on Central Park West, around Lincoln Center and on Riverside Drive along the Hudson River.

The neighborhood offers a variety of things to do with numerous cultural options that includes the Museum of Natural History and Lincoln Center. For those that love to cook at home, there’s Fairway Market, Citarella and Whole Foods. On the weekends, in the nice weather, there are farmers markets, tennis courts in Central Park and the 79th Street Boat Basin Café for food and drinks.
